beep......de...beep...beep...This is a public service announcement..We interrupt the previously viewed desert to interject some mountain goodness. More desert coming soon.
Tonight I convinced the Mad scientist that some Forest Service riding was needed and we were at the base of Little Bear Road at 6:30
Little Bear is always a treat of a climb..6 miles...mostly between 5-8 percent with a few 13-14 percent sections and many views along the way
sometimes a torpedo flies by and you think nothing of it. These are my kind of locals..look left if your lost
more views
and then on to Squaw Pass Rd and a few more....views
a total of 10 miles and 2500 + ft of climbing later and your to Warren Gulch
Where lightspeed is possible
5 miles and 2500+ ft of descending and you realize why Warren Gulch is so good.
Just as we reach the truck the 1st flash of lightening streaks across the sky and we just smile and contemplate another great night of riding.

Let me know when you've got the group coming and I'll set up the "bomb" tour. Remember Mid July to Late September is best for open high country.
