Sunday Bsoft, Guacamole and myself set off for Buffalo Creek.
What was destroyed by fires back in the late 90's and early 2000's has become a mountain biker's playground.
Already an eerie and wasteland like landscape made more so by low clouds and a light dusting of snow down low
But upon reaching the Colorado Trail, the trees surrounded us, tall and strong sentries, hoarding heaps of white gold all to themselves
Then we dropped low again, whooping and hollering
and finally to our libations which fueled us for one more climb
and a ripping descent down Sandy Wash
and a finale of me ripping Lower Gashouse...who says a Fat Bike can't rail!?...photo by Guacamole

Admittedly my "technique" is over exaggerated for the photo shot I knew was coming. I was going for the "moto" shot. I do hold my own on the descents for sure!
