Clear Creek is Calling

Looks like the plan is set to ride big this weekend. Looking at riding between 9,000 and 11,000 ft with little or no snow accumulation where I'll be. It'll be good...some pavement involved , maybe some hike a bike and maybe getting lost once or twice through abandoned mining towns. Supposed to be some sweet cliff riding singletrack, rough 4x4 roads, and there's one descent that I know of that loses over 1000 ft of elevation in less then a mile with a turn that's called...dum...dum..dum..."The turn of Doom". Miss it and you'll be flailing through space long enough to pray to the trail gods to send you to the sweet singletrack in Avalon.

Thanks Karlos! I think you should get Luis back into shape and come out to Colorado to do the Crested Butte Classic with me. 100 miles, No entry fees, 3 loops from downtown Crested Butte with a party going on while your riding. Should be a sweet time.

Im all about that, I will get to work on that IMMEDIATELY.

SHRED!

Im loving the remoteness and the ruggedness and the backgrounds of the shots of where your riding, cant wait to see it for myself someday, the whole abandoned minding town thing makes the hairs on my neck stand up. I did that kind of stuff!

Good to see you writting again!!

I can't wait to see some reports on the internal hub, that's been in my mind for quite some time as I just got done ripping those stupid gears off my alternate Monkey. They will both be SS again soon.

Good to see you're still alive. Even funnier, you move out west and Cass and I will be moving to Asheville in july after two years here in Truckee, CA. Figures. Nick
